MinterEllisonRuddWatts Partner Stacey Shortall has again been recognised as a leading legal influencer in New Zealand in LawFuel’s annual Power Lawyer List.
The LawFuel Power List, in its sixth year of publication, details the country’s top 50 most powerful and influential lawyers.
Former LawFuel Lawyer of the Year, Stacey Shortall is recognised as a major influencer and philanthropic advocate as well as being an accomplished commercial lawyer.

Stacey is regularly recognised for her leading legal expertise and as a change advocate in New Zealand.
In June, Stacey Shortall, was named as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in the 2022 Queen’s Birthday honours list for her commitment to both the law and the community.
In 2020, Stacey won the inaugural Chambers Diversity and Inclusion Awards: Asia–Pacific Social Mobility Lawyer of the Year for her pro bono work, and in 2021 was honoured with a Distinguished Alumni Award by the Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington.
Stacey has also been named as a Blake Leader, a Women of Influence Award winner, a Kiwibank Local Hero award recipient and has twice been a semi-finalist for the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year.
LawFuel’s Power List is based on submissions from lawyers, in-house counsel, and other senior members of the profession.
