Market leading law firm, MinterEllisonRuddWatts has promoted three lawyers to Senior Associate as part of its mid-year promotions, further bolstering the firm’s prominence across the tax, construction and dispute resolution practices.

The three new senior associates are:
Zoe Barnes (Corporate – Tax, Auckland)
Zoe joined the firm as a law clerk in 2012. During her time with the firm, she has become a core member of the Tax team. Zoe regularly advises a wide range of New Zealand and international clients on all aspects of tax law, including managed funds, corporates, banks, individuals, privately held trusts and charities.
Rebecca Cook (Construction, Auckland)
Joining the firm in September 2020, Rebecca is a specialist construction lawyer with experience across all stages of the project life cycle. She has particular expertise and a passion for large scale commercial construction dispute resolution.
Julian Spring (Dispute Resolution, Auckland)
Julian summer clerked with the firm before returning as a Dispute Resolution law clerk in 2010. He acts for clients across a wide range of sectors, and he has extensive Court experience. Julian’s key areas of expertise are contractual disputes, insolvency, as well as trust and estate litigation.
The promotions took effect on 1 July 2021.
