Olivia is a specialist environmental lawyer advising on all aspects of environmental and resource management law to public and private sector clients.
Olivia’s has assisted a broad range of clients with diverse activities and interests, including container depots, quarrying, petrol service stations, retail development, historic heritage properties.
She has experience in advising on all manner of environmental and resource management issues, including advising clients affected by major development projects including rezoning and resource consenting, planning matters including plan changes and notices of requirement for large scale public infrastructure works.
She also has experience in and enjoys the challenge of compliance and enforcement matters, including prosecutions under the Resource Management Act 1991, having appeared in the Environment Court representing clients being sentenced for environmental offending. She also has experience advising government departments on legislative reform and is interested in the changing shape and dynamic nature of the environmental legislative framework.
Olivia is passionate about working closely with clients and consultants to build a deep understanding of their expectations, unique and specific needs. She is client-centric in her approach, and proactively drives matters forward to achieve positive outcomes for clients. She is committed to working collaboratively to meet clients’ needs while also recognising the ongoing need to protect resources and the environment.
